By using Tasmanfy you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service
Tasmanfy lets you import bank statements, categorise transactions and view summaries of your spending. It is a personal budgeting tool and is provided free of charge while in early access. Features may change, and the service may occasionally be unavailable.
Not financial advice
Tasmanfy shows information based on the statements you import. It does not provide financial, tax or investment advice. Check important figures against your bank and speak to a qualified adviser before making financial decisions.
Your account
- You sign in with your Google account and are responsible for keeping it secure.
- Only import statements for accounts you own or are authorised to manage.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the categories and notes you add.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, including trying to access other people’s data, disrupting the service, or using it for anything unlawful.
Your data
Your data stays yours. We use it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Accuracy
Statements are read automatically and we check that balances add up, but mistakes can happen, especially with statement formats we have not seen before. The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded.
Ending your use
You can stop using Tasmanfy at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. If the changes are significant, we will let you know in the app or by email.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
